Finding Us... Directions

Driftwood Resort is located on the northwest shore of Sand Lake in northwestern Itasca County, Minnesota.  We are approximately one hour northwest of Grand Rapids, Minnesota and 4.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.  

From Grand Rapids take Hwy 2 West to Deer River.  Then turn northwest on to Hwy 46 for 18 miles.  Turn N on Hwy 34 (Max Road) and follow for about 7 miles.  Then turn right (east) onto County Road 157.  Follow for 1 1/2 miles until you see entrance sign.
